LOVES: Emily Blunt
Elle, behind the scenes. She looks hot! I slightly hate her a bit now.

Fashion Show! Prince Charles! BBC Interview! Vegetable car!
I'm actually so glad I helped out with this Fashion Show today, it was so much fun! Minus Prince Charles changing his schedule every other second! grr. The past two days have literally just gone so fast, and it's given me something to do!
So from 3 real shows, we did... 1? I think, and a LOT a LOT of rehearsals - for that one?
I managed to grab some photos from today, and even managed to get two decent-ish shots of as Shaun calls him 'Prince Charlie!'

Some Think Tank Fun!

Prince Charles!

So Lucy didn't believe me when I said... I'm going up to that man to ask him to give me a ride home! In that Vegetable Car!

Signed by Louis Hamilton... and other people, I forget who :)

Bye Bye Mr Prince! Even though you were meant to have your picture taken with us grr!

The Victoria and Albert Exhibition: Art and Love

Buckingham Palace

So I've finally decided to stick with Queen Victoria as a theme for this project, She's the one I've done the most research on through films, books and exhibitions. I'm completley fascinated with every aspect of her life, and the exhibition just topped it of for me. I can't even begin to describe how incredible the art her and Albert had collected over their years together. I was completley gutted I couldn't take photos! Not even on the sly! However I bought a book which pretty much had everything that I saw at the exhibition in :) The whole Victoriana era was just amazing, the fashion, the intricate details on everything!

London of course was a great day out! as per usual! I must have caught at least 10 tubes that day! After the first exhibition I headed down to South Kensington with my mum to the V&A... I thought whilst I was in London I might aswell visit sections of the V&A to add more research into my sketchbook...
However the museum stay got cut short as we'd found out the tubes/trains were on strike from 5! So we had to hurry it up a little bit - which was probably a good thing, because it meant we could spend more time at my grandmas house! :)

Bye, Bye Nottingham - Hello Leicester ?

It feels like ages since I've blogged - It's actually ridiculous how much time I spent throughout the summer blogging! For the past week or so, things have been pretty hectic! Well.. I've moved house, and no - not to Birmingham.

So the past conversations with people have basically been going something like this
.....So, what's new?
Well I've moved out of Nottingham!
.....So, you're living in Birmingham now?
Actually Leicester!
.....Isn't that further away from Birmingham?

Answer:No!

Reason why? Well we've completley put our house up for rent... it's way too big for just me and mum! And plus mum's been helping her friend build up her salon so we've moved in with her for the year! And.... I have a manikin :) It's working out much cheaper then actually living in Birmingham.

We literally had two days to pack up 20years worth of living in that house! Utter maddness and chaos. We had friends coming in and out of our house throughout the day helping us pack up! Luckily we get to keep our loft and garage. So most of everything has been dumped there!
I got quite emotional leaving the house... I've lived there my entire life! But I guess change is good :) I've always said... move forward, embrace change - it helps you grow (not height wise, unfortunatly lol. but mentally) Plus Leicester's not too far from Nottingham, so I can go back and forth a lot!

I took a few shots of my gorgeous house once it had been emptied! (Well - Almost emptied!)

In the whole 19 years of my life, I have NEVER seen my mum's room so tidy!

My gorgeous room! Suprisingly enough my new room is Lilac, with lots of wooden furniture :)

'Runway Bride'

Manish Malhotra has always been like one of my favourite designers in India, some of the outfits he's created have been incredible. I'm a huge fan on Bollywood films, and he's created some of the most glamourous outfits for the actors!

This collection was Manish Malhotra's Vision of the 'Runway Bride'

SORTED!
So FINALLY everything is sorted!!!! Uff, I couldn't be any happier!!
So yeah... I'll still be comuting... But instead of from Nottingham, it'll be leicester!
My mum and her friend have opened a salon in Leicester a while ago, and her friend has offered for us to stay with her :) My room apparantly has been sorted! and she's given me a manikin! I'm actually really excited, because it means I'll save a lot of money - then I would have living out in Birmingham.
I feel so much better about things! Now I just need a job.lol. But I have time to look for one :)
Eeeeeeek.

5 lessons in life?
So while stressing and spazzing out over all this drama going on, I came across this that my cousin sent me a while ago. I'd forgotton I wrote it out! Thought I'd share it :)
Learn to Laugh
Enjoy where you have been, where you are and where you're going. Remember that what you see in life depends mainly on what you look for -so search for the good in others and appreciate the gifts each day brings.
Learn to Live
Take time to slow down and be still, for sometimes it's only in silence you can hear you're own heart. Don't be afraid to admit when you're lost, sometimes it's only becoming lost that you can finally discover who you are and what you want from life.
Learn to Let Go
Allow your heart to heal from past hurts. Forgive failures and resolve regrets. Celebrate what was risked and attempted, improved or accomplished, and recognise that those who make no mistakes rarely make anything else either.
Learn to Love
Delight in wonders and marvel at miracles. Find moments full of magic in everyday life, and live each day as if it were your last. Make commitments to what's important to you. Take risks for the things that truly matter. Remember love is not just something you feel, but the things you do.
Learn to Live
Don't be afraid of growing, changing or living your life. The true joy of life lies in the journey not the destination. Search for your purpose, seek out your passions, and do what you love. Follow your dreams wherever they may lead and live all the days of your life.
