Wednesday 16th June, Show day!
Two Shows, Second Year FMPs and the Foundation FMPs.
For what realistically was a LONG day, it went so FAST! From coming in at 9am to reaching back home at 11pm. The day was filled with chaos, madness and lots of stressing! Models dropping out, garments falling apart - Welcome to the world of fashion! It's definatley far from glamour backstage.
Me and Sanah went on a Model hunt around town! Chasing after, and perving on fit women. It's not all bad eh? We pulled about 10 BBMs, but only two of them definatley onfirmed to model for us at short notice.
I'm slightly gutted we couldn't watch the show! but... there's always next year! From what I heard it was pretty good :)
Monday 21st June, Pres Show Day!
One Show, VIP + Press
Another LONG day! May I just add the Fashion Lab looked AMAZING! and so proffessional. The runway, the way the seating was layed out, the blown up photographs - Everything looked so good! (Picture stolen from Devita:P)
The white walls, the white catwalk and clear chairs just made it look so slick! It felt so good to be involved in this show, and I'm so glad I was! Plus we got lots of free food from FEED :)

They Call It London Baby!
Okay, so I know it's a bit late... but better late then never right? The trip to London was a little bit amazing, It was such a good day!!! And the weather was pretty hot too.
Being at the Graduate Show was such an experience, I managed to get around pretty much all of the universities I was interested in. Talked to the people there and collected prospectuses. Lots and lots of prospectuses. My plan throughout the Summer is to go through them all and see which ones would be right for me, and which courses I'm interested in. So far I'm torn between going straight into design or looking more into Communications and Promotions. There were some amazing collections in the Ravensbourne show! And can i just say OMG VIVIENNE WESTWOOD!!! after being in the same room as her my life is now complete. Here are some of the shots of all the collections by the graduates.
After we'd finished with the show we headed of to Kensington Palace! I really enjoyed the visit, and drew so much inspiration from the palace and the stories it held. It was a great starting point for the Royal Blue project! There's so much depth to these princess's lives, it's fascinating to hear about! The palace itself was beautiful, I remember talking to a woman who worked there and she told me about how the paintings are all originals which I was just in awe by. Knowing that just sparked so much more interest to the palace itself. There was an eary feel to the palace, and Lorna got scared... lol.
The day started and ended on a high note! And I didn't make it home till 12. But to be honest... It was completley worth it!

'Thunderstorm hits Nottingham'
I was slightly fascinated with watching it through the window, until the window flung wide open! So it may have scared me just a little bit, sleeping is out of the question hence the blogging lol.
Mild Flooding, Heavy Rains, Loud Thunder, Lightening. Reminds me of the tropical weather! Plus it's still really really hot! Gotta love the great British weather.
Goodnight.
